BePure is a leading holistic health company in New Zealand, offering premium nutritional supplements, gold-standard testing, and holistic health consultations through their clinics. With a strong focus on science and innovation, BePure’s mission is to make personalised health support more accessible. Their holistic approach, led by clinical nutritionist Ben Warren, combines functional testing, dietary guidance, and supplement recommendations to support long-term wellness.
BePure sought to expand the reach of their physical clinics by developing a fully integrated BePure Virtual Clinic. They required a platform where clients could access the same high-quality health assessments and personalised nutrition plans online.

Objectives & Goals
BePure needed an app that would seamlessly guide clients through health assessments and testing, and personalised recommendations based on their results. To meet BePure’s needs, I focused on creating a user-friendly app that combined simplicity with engagement. The goal was to empower clients, whilst keeping users motivated and engaged in their wellness journey.
Solution
Working closely with BePure's holistic health consultants and the in-house software team, I developed UI/UX designs that were intuitive, motivational, and visually aligned with BePure’s branding. I expanded the existing colour palette to effectively illustrate key features and make the interface more vibrant and engaging. To enhance user engagement, I included gamification elements, such as a sunflower that grew as users completed health challenges, unlocking educational videos and earning badges as rewards.

Results
The myBePure app prototypes received positive feedback from BePure’s health consultants, who found it enhanced the client onboarding experience and helped keep clients motivated on their wellness journeys. The intuitive design and gamified features made the process of tracking progress more engaging for clients, supporting BePure's mission of empowering people in their health journeys.
